The White Oak opened in the lovely village of Cookham in November 2008 and has a sister ‘Oak’ in Gerrards Cross called The Three Oaks which opened in July 2011. We also have a sister ‘Bistro’ in Beaconsfield Old Town called No5 London End which joined the ‘Oaks’ family in August 2016.

We are so pleased to be in our 14th year in the wonderful surroundings of Cookham. It is an amazing community and we have enjoyed ourselves here with our many many regulars so much, thank you all for your support and warmth.

In 2012 we were all delighted to receive our first Michelin Bib Gourmand award at The White Oak, the team have worked very hard to retain the award in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. It is a real pat on the back for all of the hard work and dedication our team put in every day.

We are also very pleased to have feature in the AA Restaurant & Guide every year since 2013, Waitrose’s the Good Food Guide since 2015, Alastair Sawday’s and both the Michelin Red Book & Pub Guide.

Our seasonal menus are changed regularly (sometimes daily depending on the markets) and we offer a fantastic range of dishes on our Menus.  We have an excellent A La Carte and wonderful Sunday Lunch menu. We are Open from Wednesday lunch until Sunday lunch – we are closed on Mondays & Tuesdays for now.

We have won several awards at The White Oak and thank you to all of our wonderful team & all of our fabulous customers who help make The White Oak a success.
